Walkable Main
This ambitious project intends to transform a strip of Main Street in Garland, Texas that extends from Fifth Street to the intersection of 78/First/Main into an area that will be attractive and inviting for pedestrians, that attracts visitors, promotes customers to existing businesses, grows the local economy with additions of new businesses, and eventually grows this entire neighborhood into a vibrant, sustainable mixed-use neighborhood.
The neighborhood included in this area is bordered by the railroad tracks on the west, Austin Street on the North, First Street on the east, and Avenue A on the south.
